Service Description

I am a former social worker turned teacher. I have been teaching for 10 years now. In education I have turned my focus to language arts, more specifically how to support readers who struggle. To this end I have received a Masters in the Art of Teaching, a certification in Ron Yoshimoto’s Yoshimoto Orton-Gillingham International, and am completing a Certified Structured Literacy and Dyslexia Specialist Degree from Neuhaus Education Center. My goal is to empower children by building confidence and teaching strategies that assist their reading success.
